Topic: auto-LOAD colour in ESXDOS.CFG

This may not work in the latest 0.8.9:
[25/03/2021] auto-LOAD: Set default colours to black paper + white ink, configurable in ESXDOS.CFG

It sets colours in the ATTR format.
Colours stay until some basic command changes it.
It should work also with AUTOBOOT.BAS.

ub880d checked this issue and suggested:
In the ESXDOS.SYS must be changed 2 bytes at offset 0x0726:
0x3d and 0x5d to 0xf3 and 0x23

Can you provide a table with the colors in the ATTR format ?
If I change these 2 bytes it still doesn't work for me.

The problem is, in order to display the whole system with a different color selection,
a change in the ESXDOS core may be necessary.

I don´t understand this.

Byte at adress 0x0726 is original: 0x3d and I can change this to: 0x5d
But whats the adress and value of the second Byte to change?

0x3d  to 0xf3
and
0x5d to 0x23

Hi Guenter,

thank you. But with the Bytes changed like you write I can´t get any colour change via ESXDOS.CFG for active AUTOBOOT.BAS

Tried again. Seems on my first try I´ve done something wrong. Now it works.
