Just one idea:

Maybe you could think over adding native esxDOS-API support for playing DivIDEo .dvo-Videofiles ( http://divideo.zxdemo.org/ by Matt "Gasman" Westcott)?

If possible, it would make it much easier to build a .command for playing those Streaming Video-Files.
