Topic: Boot with Dual SD-Cards 512 MB and 8 GB hangs on esxDOS 0.8.6

No real hard bug, but maybe someone stumples over the same thing:

I own a divMMC interface which offfers two/dual SD-Card-Slots - the "DivMMC EnJOY! PRO ONE "
from Ben Versteeg ( https://www.bytedelight.com/?product=di … oy_pro_one )

I tried to boot with two SD-Cards (512 MB and 8 MB) which work / boot itself als single Cards well
But when I have both Cards in (as Master and Slave), esxDOS 0.8.6 hangs. Recognizing only the first Card as sd0:

But Dual-Boot tried today with one 2 GB and one 8 GB boot OK. Only in combination with the 512 MB Card esxDOS 0.8.6 hangs on boot. Maybe because of different sector sizes?!

Hi Luzie,

That is an "interesting" bug. Unfortunately I don't have a 512MB card to test sad

Seem to be an issue with the combination of cards itself and not the size of the card. Using the Image (compressed about 25 MB size) of the 512k Card on a 2 GB Card it boots up OK as Master: 512k/2GB-Card and with an 8GB or 16GB-Card as Slave.

Also I found some errors on the original 512k SD-Card with Windows CHKDSK command.
