Topic: .playwav

Does anyone know if .playwav should work on a DivMMC running esxdos 0.8.5?  I have been trying it on DivMMC enjoy and someone I know has been trying it on Zaxxon divmmc, none of us could get it to work. 

The .wav files were 8 bit 44100Hz.

It just crashed the device.

Any ideas?  Thanks or any help.
