got it booting under SpecEmu-Emulator (48k). I loaded BS140ESX.ROM-File with "Long Filename Browser for ZX-UNO / esxDOS" https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/forums/ … ;start=970 und pressed "R" for Reset:

I still don't understand what reason there could be to use BSDOS for ESXDOS ?
What is the load command for a TAP file from (ESXDOS)CF card ?

So far as I can tell, it's not BSDOS, it's just the enhanced ROM that BusySoft created for BSDOS. It contains bug fixes and additional features. It was also one of the inspirations for SE Basic.
