than run utility and do unprotect.
Than do a Warm reset (No Hard Reset).
Than load new esxDOS-version from real "Tape-In"-Connector and try to flash.

I tried the eeprom protection Utility (divmmc_eprotector.tap), it says set JP2, press reset (reset on the spectrum, right?) but, same error when trying to flash ESXDOS:
CANNOT FLASH.

divMMC? Probably the wrong EPROTECTOR-Utility....

What error message is shown when you try to flash?

I do have two questions:
1) it's suposed to be DIVIDE (and not DIVMMC), right?
2) It has esxdos 0.8.5. I set the jumper settings for updating, and launched the DIVIDE.TAP file, but it ends with an error. Maybe I can't update it from the EsxDOS loaded itself? I should move to another firmware before updating? Is there any trick for it?
